Long time ago there was a small band of heroes, assembled with one thing in common: Surviving the great war against spectre and her undead armies. They were put together and titled: The immortals. Little did they know that their smal band of friends would go on to evolve into a massive multisystem empire with close relations to walking, talking lizards and species across the galaxy very similar to their own. The immortals claim to fight for freedom throughout the galaxy, insctinctively rooting out cruelty in the galaxy no matter how strong their opponent will be. The immortals are not one to walk away from a fight, and with the stupendous amount of raider juggernaut soldiers they have walking away is not something they have to do often.
Despite having a massive military group the immortals are mostly concerned about civilians, like any governmental force (except earth 2018). Open to refugees with a good healthcare system in place. The immortals work on a socialistic like bureaucratic system to make life miserable for the money hogging entrepeneurs. The main task of the immortals is to protect Jeslore from extra planetary threats and history has shown they are willing to use any weapon to keep Jeslore safe ranging from planting the fierce devourers strategically to carpet bombing property with the scythe virus...
The immortals have also began rebuilding their border patrol sentries as a powerfull means of defense.
As of now the immortals have 5 notable planets:
Jeslore - The capitol of the factions. Here the immortals have no real influence as the king still reigns here. It is a beautifull planet with a long history of wars and combat. It has known peace for ages now, allowing traditions to flourish to their fullest extend. Outsiders are usually unwelcome here (a bit like a french person in rural america) but can work their way into acceptance. Jeslore is off limits for stranger visits and only verified immortal citizens or high ranking allied officials in possesion of an ID card may land there.
Apex-122 - the industrial torn planet and the headquarters of the immortals. Apex-122 is so polluted that civilians are advised to wear gasmasks when going outside. Home to many factories that create the equipment of the faction at an astonishing rate. Apex-122 much like Imm'enne is protected by a tough shell wich forces attackers too come in through the extraction point wich is highly guarded by sentry turrets.
Anthir - formerly a planet full of giant bugs and highly evolved wildlife now turned into pirate's cove v2 to honour the previous queen of the drosden fleet. Anthir is full of recreation planet and refered to as the Vacation resort or the treasure planet. Most settlements are made out of wood to give off the feeling of a pirate themed resort. Laboratories are placed deep in the rainwoods where scientists find new ways to make life easier.
Scythe-145 - The zombie planet. Scythe-145 is off limits for civilians. Civilians of Scythe-145 are supported through supply drops in their war against the zombie virus ravaging the planet. Scientists are hard at work to find a cure for the affliction in the later stages but no luck so far.
Imm'enne - The fortified planet. Easily one of the most impenetrable planets in the entire galaxy after haven. It boasts multiple layers of security and it has been built by dwarven hands from scratch wich means durability for ages. It has spikes on it's top layer to prevent bombers from safely dodging the AA fire on the surface or just safely flying through and there are sentry turrets everywhere. The only entrance is very well guarded and needs to be directly accessed as there are no means of survival (water and food) on the surface. After wich follow 12 layers of mazes filled to the brim with death traps stretching around the entire planet after wich the training grounds for soldiers come. After the training grounds comes the civilian cities.
Immortal Military Branches.
Pathfinders are the recon divisions in the immortals. Typically equiped with light armor yet heavy weaponry. They are an uncommon sight (because they avoid contact) and the weakest units in the immortals. They are only rarely seen on a battlefield and when they are it's usually under cover during a retreat from a reconnaisance mission.
The drosden privateers are the remains of the great drosden fleet once under the reign of Kat Kheylana. It is currently under the rule of a puppet king until a decent replacement for Crime Queen Kat, arch duchy of sky, undisputed queen of the sea and lady of the space seas Kheylana the great has been found. As of now the Drosden privateers act as the auxiliary navy of the immortals, having access to the typical raider classes and other things.
Bacteria thank their name to their boarding tactics by entering a hostile ship and making it incapable of fighting back and usually even killing it from the inside, much like a disease would. Raiders are the primary navy of the immortals but the bacteria unit itself is extremely common apearing almost everywhere ranging from special missions to security gigs.
If Bacteria are the most common combat oriented unit in the immortals then lovers are the most common support group. The lover division consists of support oriented units, typically ones focused on healing their allies. They employ all sorts of tactics ranging from the walking hospitals that go in guns blazing with a shield and an area healer to the nimble genies that do repairing as well as healing.
Silverbacks (refered to as quarterbacks by earthlings due to their sheer size) are the anti flanking unit. They set up a line of defense next to and behind an offensive making flanking classes, be it stealth based or agility based alot less effective. They thank their name silver backs to the amount of armor they carry on their backside as they are typically turned away from the front line.
The dragonblood court
Named after the great king of jeslore: King erik dragonblood the first, the dragonblood court are a unit of knights that are typically found on the full front of the battlefield with their shields raised to block incoming damage. Utilizing revolutionary shielding tech they can stop multiple artillery strikes if necesary, mainly thanks to their shield strength and the ability to quickly recharge the shield strength by replacing it's battery. Typically they carry a charger to recharge the empty battery. The dragonblood court also employs common swat shields and demoknights by occasion.
Immortal vehicular division
The vehicular division is the division using vehicles. (lol)
Immortal brawler division
The immortal brawler division is a semi vehicular division relying on size and brawn. Typically they charge into battle with fists as their weapons in heavy armor or small brawler mechs to ravage the frontline of the enemy. Heavily armored and brutally effective at distracting the enemy.
The Diasun Division
Named after the most brilliant mind to ever exist in the history of dracholm: Dexter Diasun. The Diasun Division are the immortal field engineers, usually consisting of brilliant minds that are inventing new weapons right on the battlefield when they're not busy operating the machinery they build ranging from the rocket shielding baby syntax to the monstrous regular syntax.
