A deadly virus affecting both organics and robotics swept the northern sectors of the Galaxy, sparking a war between the afflicted and the remaining factions. After nearly a year of defensive battles and co-ordinated operations, the war finally ended at the Battle of Ruin. The end of the war saw increased relations between the GSU, Imperium and Santori as they all agreed on a two year ceasefire to mend the damages caused by the crisis.

After these two years the factions signed the Santori Accords, an agreement proclaiming their united efforts to uphold Celestial law, including the protection of innocent life in case of another galactic threat. Following this meeting the Highrock Clans decided to join the Santori Protectorate, expanding their territory by almost double.

Whilst each planet has their own personal Dates and Times, most of them adhere to the Galactic Standard Calendar when communicating with eachother.

Current Events
The Reich, a returning faction of magic-haters, resurface and initiate a purge of the planet Ordriey, destroying it entirely in the process. This event has made all of the Major Factions uneasy, even though each of them has bigger concerns of their own. Not only are there issues for these powers to deal with, but more factions are rising from the ashes of the Helix War, populating the galaxy once again.

Meanwhile, the Celestial Architect Sam'anar has discovered a way to reverse large parts of the Convergence, sending back many of the planets it had brought into the galaxy. Whilst this move has saved many from unwanted threats, it has also shifted the layout of the galaxy drastically. Because of this, new star-charts have been drawn out with Hyperlanes, allowing them to show the quickest and safest routes between planets.

Apex-122, Home of the immortals and the drosden fleet. It was a planet filled with polution, mostly because with interests of the factions in mind the dwarves were allowed to have their way with the planet, transforming it into a massive factory where all sorts of tools were created for the faction. Dwarves, elves and many other races native to Jeslore filled the streets wearing small gasmasks to protect against the airborne polution. Only in large buildings there was clean air, these were the areas people lived in or where stores and such were located. Another purified area was the so called 'extraction point', the only entrance to the planet where travelers resided.

In the extraction point there was Sylvia, alongside other soldiers slowly getting back into the groove of being part of the immortals. She and her big bear like beast were carrying crates of supplies to a nearby store, it looked like a gift shop from an airport except loaded with weaponry and only accesible by troops.

Alitur, a big shithole of a planet under the flag of the empire. Crime everywhere and rules only being enforced occasionally when things really got out of hand. In short it was like australia but in space. It was the kind of rough atmosphere that attracted Keya's need for stimulation, she's been to alot of other planets where it was post apocalyptic, Keya was fan of a but of survival. While here she already had run ins with the local criminal gangs including succi's one and usually it ended up her way where she managed to either escape or fight off the gang members. Unknowingly she was most likely getting the attention of the higherups in the gang.

She was lightly armored and armed, just a pistol and some light armor. She took delight in killing off grunts to get to their leaders like some sort of vigilante hero while in reality she was just sating a deepseated bloodlust with maximum efforts to make it so that the deaths were caused by someone else, a skill she had from her days as a serial killer several thousands of years ago. She hasnt gotten rusty. She has been here for about 3 days now, surviving mostly by being a relentless hunter. She rested in areas where people were unlikely to find her. The 4th day began and she woke up in a ventilation shaft, she crawled out of it and ended up in an alleyway ready for another day of survival on alitur.

There are two primary governments within the faction:
The drosden fleet

The drosden fleet is a monarchy ruled community that is significantly smaller than the immortal counsil yet the only community large enough to hold their own ground and be a legit opposition to the counsil and their decisions.

The drosden fleet, despite being a private army kind of organization hired by the immortals made up mostly of immortal dropouts and intergalactic lowlives answers to their monarch, formarly pirate queen Kat Kheylana who has sadly passed away alongside her adversary. A new king sympathetic to the immortal counsil has taken her place. While he has total power at this moment in the fleet Queen Kat Kheylana is still being followed more and any proposals that are deemed 'against her morals' are outright rejected by the drosden public.

The current king is nothing more than a puppet installed by the immortal counsil during the abscence of Tower to deal with the drosden public while keeping them sympathetic to the immortal counsil's decisions. The king himself is more concerned with maintaining his legitimacy to rule, it is rumored that Kat Kheylana has returned by some means. It is yet to be confirmed but this child could throw an insideous reign into total chaos.

The immortal counsil

The immortal government is a different beast all together. It is primarily ruled by the 'leader' (Currently Tower Charles Charlot) who's main task is to not rule the entity as a whole but to go through with decisions upkeeping the counsil.

The upper counsil is what is really leading the faction and it is divided amond high ranking members (former members of the immortal militia).

Sylvia Rootheart - Public health and safety.

Blaze Crimson - Domestic integrity control. (Domestic investigations.)

Keya Gildas - Alliance ambassador with smaller groups.

Viktor the bear - Alliance ambassador with major factions.

Spectre the reaper - Security and ministry of defense.

Klaut Goldmantle - Chief executive officer and overseer of immortal science branches.

James H. Orwell - Minister of imprisonment and head of reeducation.

This counsil is the one in power and the ones in charge of the vital functions of the faction, this includes things out of their title. Below them is the civilian counsil wich is more concerned with the civilians and their interests rather than the faction and how it is run but decisions made by them can be overrun by the immortal counsil.

On the lowest end of the scale is King Erik Dragonheart, the king of Jeslore who holds no authority outside Jeslore. He has no legitimate authority in the faction but technically Tower Charlot still serves in his royal court.

Notable units in the immortals:

Standard immortal raider:
Perhaps one of the most common units in the immortals, the immortal raiders boast some heavy armor, not as much as the mk2 raider. Typically seen wielding heavy weaponry in addition to their armor.

Immortal soldiers:
The most common unit in the immortal, soldiers are well rounded units balancing tankyness with mobility and optional stealth. They wield heavy to light weaponry and are usually not the first to get deployed.

Immortal Genies:
Genies are the units that both deliver engineering and repairing support as well as healing support. Their name is in reference to fullfilling 2 out of 3 wishes right as they cant really fight that well.

Walking hospitals:
Equiped with a healing generator and a shielding generator the walking hospitals live up to their name. Packed in armor and wielding heavy weaponry they act as fully mobile safety areas, using their shield to protect injured soldiers nearing spawn point and healing gas to stretch out their longevity. Less armored than the raiders but still notable resilience the walking hospitals were a result of an arms race that should not be repeated.

Immortal raiders mk2:
The updated version of the immortals increases their already notable resilience even further while also drastically increasing the number of juggernaut units available. The immortal raiders mk2 are the most resilient units the immortals have to offer.

The sappers in the immortals are a direct and loud version of the saboteurs, favoring armor similar to that of the soldiers with minor tweaks such as sabotage tools.

Shielders are the frontline of defense for the immortals, their shields will block most of the incoming damage directed at troops taking cover behind them. They act as highly usefull guards to important units on the battlefield as well as providing one way cover for their allies.

(Plaguemasters are a secret unit and not everyone knows of them. Soldiers are vowed to not speak of them to civilians.)
The plaguemasters are the best and most dangerous unit that the immortals have to offer. They have exceptional crowd control through their unique ability of affliction control. Currently there are little over 75 total plaguemasters enlisted with the immortals. They rarely apear on the battlefield and are only deployed when the immortals absolutely believe a fight needs to be won. Unlike the supersoldiers of other factions the plaguemasters are not bullet proof, heavily relying on their comrades to survive.

There are 3 main kinds of plague masters out there, each with their own use and tasks. (posted in ascending order of rarity)

The angel type plaguemaster is the fastest to be deployed due to their well rounded capabilities. In addition to their disease controlling abilities they are also given the means to heal (In reference to their name.) and shielding their allies with a weapon not too disimilar from the energy shielding weapon some units use. The angel plaguemaster typically wields diseases or affliction that deliver a swift death to any falled enemy soldiers.

Executioners arent quite as nice as their angel counterpart. Instead of keeping their allies covered executioners are constantly looking for enemies with armor gaps so that they may infect them with inflaming afflictions such as cancer but also other more quick inflaming ones. This is typically ment to not kill a soldier but to force them into seeking help from their comrades, it goes by the logic of killing a man is just one down but injuring them takes at least two more men to provide care for the injured one. A devious tactic for sure but a brutally effective one.

The deathbringer makes their executioner and angel counterparts seem like morally justified, the deathbringers have a much more devious tactic to rack up more kills. Deathbringers do not kill their targets, instead they will infect them with lethal and contagious diseases, typically subtle ones while keeping tabs on the health of their allies in order to keep the plague in enemy territory. Once infected a deathbringer will let enemy medics pick up their fallen allies, not to let them be healed but to infect the entire medic camp.

The immortals had recieved an anonymous tip from somewhere that a nearby faction: The New Space Coalition might be running a slavery ring. They could not simply bring the hammer down on them right then and there and it would make them look stupid too if they acted on an anonymous tip. They sent a number of spies to Sigma to investigate the rumor and based on their findings the immortals would 'ally' them with an afressive treaty, much like the omega act.

3 days after recieving the tip the spies arrived and began to infiltrate the society on sigma and report their findings to the head spymistress Keya Gildas (Who was working for the immortals undercover for the watchers agency.) and act if necesary... Most of them posed to be civilians while others claimed to be people simply passing through. Some hid in plain sight, staying out of the way of the patrols.
