A deadly virus affecting both organics and robotics swept the northern sectors of the Galaxy, sparking a war between the afflicted and the remaining factions. After nearly a year of defensive battles and co-ordinated operations, the war finally ended at the Battle of Ruin. The end of the war saw increased relations between the GSU, Imperium and Santori as they all agreed on a two year ceasefire to mend the damages caused by the crisis.

After these two years the factions signed the Santori Accords, an agreement proclaiming their united efforts to uphold Celestial law, including the protection of innocent life in case of another galactic threat. Following this meeting the Highrock Clans decided to join the Santori Protectorate, expanding their territory by almost double.

Whilst each planet has their own personal Dates and Times, most of them adhere to the Galactic Standard Calendar when communicating with eachother.

Current Events
The Reich, a returning faction of magic-haters, resurface and initiate a purge of the planet Ordriey, destroying it entirely in the process. This event has made all of the Major Factions uneasy, even though each of them has bigger concerns of their own. Not only are there issues for these powers to deal with, but more factions are rising from the ashes of the Helix War, populating the galaxy once again.

Meanwhile, the Celestial Architect Sam'anar has discovered a way to reverse large parts of the Convergence, sending back many of the planets it had brought into the galaxy. Whilst this move has saved many from unwanted threats, it has also shifted the layout of the galaxy drastically. Because of this, new star-charts have been drawn out with Hyperlanes, allowing them to show the quickest and safest routes between planets.

Name: OSAL Android “Spectre”
Homeplanet: N/A
Sentience: Sentient

Project "B" Recipient (Minor) - Nanites have been incorporated into the body. Resistant to EMP and viruses, self-replicating within the body, these Nanites help regulate genetic issues, increase rate of natural healing, break down foreign matter, participate in a neural communication with other recipients within a certain range, and interface directly with technology.
Android - With a base form of a machine instead of a brain, they are capable of high speed calculations and operations of which can’t be replicated by most organic life forms.
Synthetic Lifeform - With the base template of the lifeform being different, it is much easier to perform the task of many, and have a high performance for single tasks in general such as heavy lifting, multi-tasking, and so on.
Adaptation - It is easy to adapt to new environments and situations simply by changing parts for a machine. In the same way, as a synthetic lifeform, it is easy to swap out one thing for another. Eyes can’t see enough things? Swap them out for something capable of multi-spectrum sight. Legs not getting you from A to B fast enough? Change them for full mechanical ones, or maybe even install wheels in the feet.
Upgrade - Software needs to adapt to get the most out of hardware, and sometimes, even the hardware could do better with things such as miniaturization, improved materials and so on.
Intrusion Repulsion - Being sentient life forms, despite their base being mechanical, they are still ‘life’. Unlike an AI or AGI which has to defend against cyber warfare or external intrusion in general to protect themselves, Spectre’s can simply eject them from their mind. That said, if they wish to be the ones intruding, they still need to put in the effort like everyone and everything else. This simply guarantees their function as a living being, rather than a machine.
Reproduction - When equipped with reproductive organs, they can impregnate/be impregnated, and give birth. The resulting offspring grows based on a massively complex process which tends to take up most of its emerging processing power. The android offspring would still be machine in nature, and take in the necessary metals from its diet and having nanites made within itself, with its initial nanites given by the parents. It is theorized that with enough generations, they will eventually devolve or “downgrade” until they become no different from a living, breathing human.

Degradation - Just like organic beings which get old and their cells begin to degrade and become weak, the same can be said for machine life, even if the process takes a lot longer. When parts are worked especially hard, they wear out even faster. Even software can become damaged and corrupted given enough time. Physical life can be extended by uploading the software to a new body, but this is only a stop-gap, and Spectre’s would prefer to have only the one body. To live and die like any other life form with a limited lifespan.
Min-Maxing - No one can do everything. Sure, androids can do a lot more and retain their skills much longer than organics, but there are still limitations to be had. But they make damn sure that they will be among the best at what they do, even if they end up being only average at other things.
Evolution-Locked - Because they are already near the peak of machine evolution, there is almost nowhere above for them to go. In the process of solidifying a single image on what something should be, other possibilities become unavailable, and now for these androids, there is no foreseeable paths left.
Emotions - Both good and bad emotions are available and cannot be disabled. This was originally a forbidden and dangerous technology and assembly due to the fact that a machine that is swayed by emotions is no longer a machine, and can therefore no longer be controlled.
Inner Perfection - Everything on the inside has already been balanced and optimized as much as possible, leaving there no room for making additions or swapping anything out, meaning any additions have to be done externally.

Skeleton - The skeleton replicates the human body in its entirety, and is made out of a neutro-wolframium alloy to keep its durability, longevity, and great rigidity so that it won’t be irreparable in the event damage occurs, and would rather break like a bone rather than bend.
Muscle - Synthetic crystal fibers made to replicate organic muscle tissue where power can flow through them like blood to strengthen them and cause the tension and relaxation of the fibers to simulate muscle movement. The fibers are also layered and twisted similar to rope and cable wires to add extra strength.
Skin - Synthetic skin of high durability and flexibility which replicates the full senses of the human body, down to the goosebumps and feeling the breeze.
Organs - Compulsory organs are those such as the power generator, power storage, matter converter, positronic neural brain/computer, and redundant power generator. The matter converter serves the same function as the digestive system to provide a raw material for the power generator. The redundant power generator can take most types of power sources but typically has a trilithium crystal in it. Can theoretically last on one crystal on emergency/minimal power for centuries to preserve itself. Optional organs include respiratory system, cardiovascular system (nanites instead of blood), reproductive system, and nervous system.
Software - Every android has a positronic brain with an AGI installed, giving it the same functionality as a human brain. The initial personalities are taken from the brainwave patterns recorded of the Phantom species, using anywhere between two to five of their personalities mixed together. The initial process can be repeated multiple times before sentience solidifies in order to weed out any negative combinations such as psychopathic, degenerative traits and so on.
Nanites - The body of the android is flooded with nanites, serving as a replacement for blood, even if such a thing isn’t needed. They help repair the body and internal systems, while also being used for other functions. When the body experiences damage which would cause an organic to bleed, the nanites would appear as an iridescent blue blood flowing out with the same viscosity as blood. However, they still function even after leaving the body, and can repair the wound they came out of.

The appearance is initially divided into three human-types: Synthetic Female, Synthetic Male, and Android. Respectively, these are those who have chosen to be a female, those who chose to be male, and those who chose to be neither and remain more machine than alive. The appearance of the first two are immaculate and can all be considered beauties, ironically appearing so flawless as if they weren’t real. As their appearance can be customized to their tastes, this shouldn’t come as a surprise that they can all be fair-skinned, youthful and overall stunning. Those that chose to remain an android tend to look the same, though customizations can still be made between facial skeleton, overall size, and backlighting.

Free Thought - Spectre’s are free to think what they will and make their own choices from the moment they gain sentience. Choice of profession, choice of gender, choice of relationships, comfort, whatever it may be. Of course, the are still subject to the laws and regulations of the society they are a part of.
Morality - Spectre’s know and understand, and were told of such, that they were created to fill the void left by having so much to do with so little people available, and that they would be sent on tasks that would potentially cause their death permanently. They have accepted this, and understand the position of their creators, their “parents” the Bellerophon, and their “siblings” the Phantoms. Spectres understand and will willingly give up their life for the cause, as long as it is not completely without reason. This does not mean they won’t do their best to live a full life and even try have a family if they wanted to.
Veteran - The knowledge and experience of their creators are inputted into their beings upon their creatio, allowing them to adapt and perform where needed immediately, as well as to empathize with their fellow people.
Diverse - The culture of them are widely varied, but take quite a lot of cues from one of their core members, Kyle, who came from a Japanese Culture. Aside from that, a lot of customs and knowledge are mixed together. Having come from a universe where Terrans had to focus on war efforts, culture declined rapidly, and was only kept alive by the minorities who isolated themselves, and even then, most of their traditional ways were lost.
Quasi-Cyberocracy - A government type that rules by utilization of knowledge. Due to their low numbers, this is more manageable. Its basis is the collection, analyzation, distribution, reaction and resolution to all information, creating unbiased and rational decisions that align with their goals. It has been tweaked to fit the needs, morals and so on of the people, but at its core, is a means to resolve a lot of things autonomously via technology. This is a quasi-cyberocracy due to the drift from its pure form, and due to it being partially managed by non-technological sources.
Loyalty - All people are loyal to their own and their cause. They look at each other as a whole and benefit the whole, while not forgetting to support the individual. Some may consider their methods to be fanaticism but is closer to “I would rather sacrifice myself if it means protecting our own.”
Military-Preparedness - There is a doctrine of sorts that are followed, particularly about being ready at all times. Everyone at a young age is to go through a basic training, to give them skills in combat, engineering, tactical, science, economics and so on, to the level of a average adult, on top of physical training. As they get older, intermediate training is to help them reach a level of an elite from most other standards. This is usually done before reaching the age of 20. The advanced training is taken after one has been deemed ready and having enough experience, for them to reach the level of ace, or veteran elite. There are of course specialized training courses for everything.

Order of Shadows Artificial Lifeseed: Android “Spectre”. A synthetic life form created with highly advanced technology, giving life to machine. This was originally a forbidden and forgotten technology that was discarded due to the dangers. Positronic brains and AGI’s with personalities. These were used at an experimental stage before being disposed of because it had gained sentience every single time, so the technology was deemed scrapped since it couldn’t be controlled. Instead, the Terran Imperium went back to using low level androids and droids that wouldn’t gain sentience and wouldn’t have the potential to overthrow them.
The Order of Shadows, finding themselves in a situation where their numbers are too limited to carry out the tasks set before them in this vast converged universe, decided to start assembling these sentient beings. As the Order doesn’t have any bias or prejudice, and are more open minded, they deem them not as a potential risk but more of an ally, a comrade in arms, especially considering their own origins.

Name: OSP Plasmatic Phase Shotgun “KabeDON”
Owner: Order of Shadows
Manufacturer: Order of Shadows

Development Thread:

Rarity: Rare
Type: Shotgun
Ammunition: Energy

Neutro-Wolframium - Made out of said material, this weapon is durable enough to take a beating without compromising its functions.
Dynamic Powering - While it has an energy cell to power it, it can also be powered with the Order of Shadows suits, being charged while holstered and in the hand.
Genetic Registration - To prevent misuse, the weapon holds a database of users who are allowed to use the weapon. Others will not be able to fire a single bullet.
Heavy Plasma Projectiles - Blue lump of energy. Average against shielding, good against armor, leaves a plasma burn on organic tissue. Effective against non-organic targets.
Heavy Phaser Beam - Great against shielding, average against armor. Effective against organic targets.
Scattershot - Like typical shotguns, this firing mode causes the plasma to be shot out in a spread pattern, making it deadly up close.
DON! - A special firing mode where both barrels of the shotgun fire a burst wave of plasma, rather than a ball or scatter or beam of plasma. Especially good at taking down a wall (kabe).

Restrictions - To prevent overheating and to stop the need to wait long times to fully charge again, the weapon is equipped with a function to automatically change firing speeds to deal with this. In return, it can’t be fired often.
Bulky - While some might think it would be alright to carry two primary weapon and two sidearms, and it is possible with stronger species, this is impractical as they become bulky in confined spaces, draw energy from their suit if applicable, require two hands to use (unless trained to wield a primary with one hand), and can add unnecessary weight.

Order of Shadows Personal Equipment: Plasmatic Phase Shotgun “KabeDON”. A weapon designed with a restrictive usage, but a multitude of firing modes to accommodate multiple situations. Made particularly for Kyle Telos. This shotgun has a habit of damaging walls, especially during its creation and testing, hence the unique name in comparison to other creations from this manufacturer.

Rarity: Rare
Type: Power Armor, Exo-Skeleton Suit, Extra-Vehicular-Activity (EVA) Suit
Physical Resistance: 4
Magical Resistance: 3

Neutro-Wolframium Plating - Using the strongest military grade metal to reinforce and protect key parts of the suit, it boasts a strong defence, lightweight, high durability, and easy to replace.
Bio-Synthetic Fabric - Using biotechnology, this fabric stiffens on impact, reducing damage from blunt based attacks. It also resists and disperses energy based attacks, and is pierce/slash resistant, with a handy self-repairing feature. Said feature only work in case of moderate damage and takes time.
Oxygen Tanks - Built in oxygen system with oxygen tanks, 7 oxygen cells in total across the suit, capable of providing a day’s worth of oxygen each, and about 10 days if conserving air.
Micro-Generator - An in-built generator designed to supply the necessary power required to run all of the individual systems in the suit. Can be run using several different things, but typically powered by trilithium crystals. A single trilithium crystal can power all systems for around 90 days, assuming power banks are full.
Power Banks - Stores generated energy, and can be replaced if necessary. There are 12 power cells within the suit to make up the power bank, combining to power all systems at 100% for a day each. As with the oxygen tanks, these are spread throughout the suit, so that any damage sustained won’t cause total failure.
Filtration System - Filters the air to make sure its breathable, even from outside sources. Can filter out harmful gases, liquids, particles floating in the air, even the smell, and leave just the necessities.
Life Support - A very vital function of the suit which performs many tasks. Monitors the lifesigns of the user, can make needleless IV infusions to keep the user healthy even without food and water provided the infusion resources are available (7 days worth provided in the suit), can induce a near-death state and coma to preserve the psychological or physical health under certain situations, and even halt the oxygen and power flow if there is a leak or damage, before sealing or re-routing any problems. It also controls the temperature of the suit, so that no matter what happens, the user can remain under perfect conditions inside.
Nanite Self Repair - This is a minor repair system which performs 2 tasks. The first is the maintenance of the suit. Repairing minor damage, limiting effects of major damage, creating bypasses if any functions are compromised, such minor things that don’t require much. The other is the preservation of the user’s life, by providing minor healing, particularly in cases of injuries caused by damage to the suit, such as a puncture. While it can’t heal wounds, they can surely seal minor wounds and relieve some of the problems.
Waste Management - Unfortunately, its not always possible to get in and out of a suit quickly, especially if one happens to be in the vacuum of space for extended periods of time. The waste management system takes any ‘waste’ and breaks them down and converts them into something useful, or to be purged at the next convenience.
Maneuvering Thrusters - Thrusters which allow movement in a full range of motion, particularly in zero-G environments. They are also programmed to automatically balance movement, so that the user isn’t stuck in perpetual movement by accident. There is one large thruster on the back to allow flight in zero-G, as well as reduce falling speeds while in gravity.
Micro-Computer Core - While not as extravagant as the other systems, this particular one is a key component that is well protected, has a built-in black box recording in the event of disasters, and essentially controls the entire suit to make it run properly. It is especially well protected from invasive techniques.
Micro-Gravity Unit - A system designed to create gravity within the suit to allow it to be unrestricted in a gravity environment. Even if it at most can only levitate a couple of meters off the ground, it is particularly useful when combined with the maneuvering thrusters.
Magno-Clamps - What use is a suit that can’t be used to walk on the walls or outside of a ship? Magno-clamps polarize part of the suit as it comes closer to contact with another surface. While harmless for the most part, it allows the user to latch onto a surface with any part of the suit. It also helps to stay attached, even when extreme forces are applied that could tear them away. Will let go if it passes the threshold that the suit, and wearer, can withstand.
Micro-Inertial Dampener - While not necessary in most suits, it was deemed necessary here because of the constant situations these suits would be put under. This system helps to absorb the shock and shake the wearer will feel from impacts and G-Forces. Thanks to this system, the suit can also be used for deployments without vehicles or drop pods, allowing them to insert themselves wherever necessary.

Exo-Skeleton - This built in function usually would be a good thing, but unless one has a special constitution, it is nothing more than huge disadvantage. Instead of taking the load off and supporting the user, this one instead counters and strains every action the user makes. It can take up to a maximum of 6x the standard of human strength, but has a variable setting to allow for this burden to be reduced. If unauthorized users wear it, they will suffer the maximum setting. Can be useful for muscle and body training. When used by a bellerophon, this suit helps them to maintain their constitution. Without power, the strain is set to maximum.
Equipping - The equipping and removing of this suit is quite a strenuous task, to the point that it had a dedicated equipping station that would have an automated system equip it to them part by part. It is also quite rigid to the point that it stands upright even with no one in it, and there are dozens of parts. While one could see it as being able to wear only a few parts if they wanted, the suit is near useless unless the entire thing is put on as one. Unless they simply wish to be a meat shield and absorb a few heavy blows alone. Manually, can take anywhere between 10-60 minutes to equip or remove, depending on the experience of the person.

Order of Shadows Personal Equipment: Apparel “Ranger”. Based off of the functions typically used in all Order of Shadows armor, this apparel was made for the personal use of Kyle Telos. By using a lot of miniaturization and utilizing as much space as possible, it was possible to fit everything into it and still keep an airtight seal to stay safe in the void of space. Due to fitting everything in it as well as the change in appearance, the overall defensive power has fallen below the average. However, this was mostly meant to be a cosmetic armor anyway, while keeping the functions deemed as a bare minimum for anything that a member of the Order of Shadows would wear to protect their life.

Genetic Registration - To prevent misuse, the weapon holds a database of users who are allowed to use the weapon. Others will be subjected to several shocks in sequence. Stun, Harmful, Lethal.
Monomolecular Edge - The edge of this blade is monomolecular, making it extremely sharp, effective enough to fight against even armor. Still, against shields, it is just as, if not less effective than punching it.

Weak - This blade was designed to strike at weak points, and while the material it is made of helps make up for this, it can’t change the fact it was not designed to pierce through armor or shields.

Order of Shadows Equipment: Private Military & Security Company Ninjatō “Shikaku”. For use by members of the cover organization: PMSC “Iten (移転)”, meaning “Transmigration”. A single-edged short sword with no hand guard, this blade was designed for stealth and to strike at weak points in a target. Still strong enough to survive CQC, but instead of blocking, it is best used to deflect and redirect attacks. Named Shikaku, Assassin.

Antiproton Weapon - Very high damage against everything, with an added piercing power.
Alternate Fire Mode - Can change between the weaker, faster to recharge projectile, and the stronger, slower to recharge beam.

Clip Size - Limited to six projectile shots, or 3 beams before needing to be reloaded or recharged. Make every shot count.
Cooldown - After each shot, the weapon needs to cooldown, restricting how often it can fire.
All or Nothing - Kill or don’t kill, there is no in between. For the most part, this weapon was designed to, at point blank range, pierce through personal shielding, amor, and the target itself.

Order of Shadows Equipment: Private Military & Security Company Revolver “Cerberus”. For use by members of the cover organization: PMSC “Iten (移転)”, meaning “Transmigration”. Named after the guardian of the gates of the underworld, this revolver fires either a beam or projectile mass of heavily concentrated antiprotons. Its destructive power was meant as a one shot, one kill weapon, hence why it is aptly named so, since it does not let an enemy escape from hell once it hits.
