A deadly virus affecting both organics and robotics swept the northern sectors of the Galaxy, sparking a war between the afflicted and the remaining factions. After nearly a year of defensive battles and co-ordinated operations, the war finally ended at the Battle of Ruin. The end of the war saw increased relations between the GSU, Imperium and Santori as they all agreed on a two year ceasefire to mend the damages caused by the crisis.

After these two years the factions signed the Santori Accords, an agreement proclaiming their united efforts to uphold Celestial law, including the protection of innocent life in case of another galactic threat. Following this meeting the Highrock Clans decided to join the Santori Protectorate, expanding their territory by almost double.

Galactic Date
Whilst each planet has their own personal Dates and Times, most of them adhere to the Galactic Standard Calendar when communicating with eachother.

Current Events
The Reich, a returning faction of magic-haters, resurface and initiate a purge of the planet Ordriey, destroying it entirely in the process. This event has made all of the Major Factions uneasy, even though each of them has bigger concerns of their own. Not only are there issues for these powers to deal with, but more factions are rising from the ashes of the Helix War, populating the galaxy once again.

Meanwhile, the Celestial Architect Sam'anar has discovered a way to reverse large parts of the Convergence, sending back many of the planets it had brought into the galaxy. Whilst this move has saved many from unwanted threats, it has also shifted the layout of the galaxy drastically. Because of this, new star-charts have been drawn out with Hyperlanes, allowing them to show the quickest and safest routes between planets.

Military:
Tier One: The Faction has perfected Ballistic Weaponry
Tier Two: The Faction has a budding Space Military Program.
Science:
Tier One: Faction has perfected Planetary Energy Generation

Note:Magical based factions can supplement magical ranged weaponry through the respective weapon techs for example. A rifle that shoots magical pellets is ballistic in nature.An gun that shoots a pure stream of mana is energy and a weapon that powers up can be Kinetic.

Technology Terms:

Energy.

Beginner forms of Energy Gen:A sufficient form of energy generation that provides whatever the state currently needs at the cost of either being unstable or wasteful.Such forms of energy generation is ineffective for larger scale governments and powers and in general is a flawed and unperfected form of energy creation. {Example:Nuclear fission generators that produce nuclear waste that is harmful.}

Intermediate Energy Generation:Energy Generation that has reached a level that is sufficient enough for a fledgling space civilization,such forms of energy generation may provide large amounts of power at either a steep cost or no cost at all.{Depending on the effect and material this form of energy requires}.This form of energy should be capable of powering ships and provide the means to power FTL travel.

Advanced Energy Generation:Energy Generation has reached a level that allows for civilizations to become self-sufficient in terms of generating power for their state and population.This form of power can support large ships at ease and power advanced FTL drives whilst also providing the means to power most of the more advanced technologies found throughout the galaxy.

Cosmic Energy:This form of energy is near limitless and harvested from the Cosmic Plane through the use of ultra advanced generators,while this form of energy is capable of powering technology never before seen it does bring the question of what effect this Cosmic Energy’s untapped raw power may bring…..As well as the effect of such harvesting on the Cosmic Plane.

Military.

Ballistic:Chemical based weaponry capable of propelling projectiles towards it’s target at varied speeds.

Energy:Energized weapons that throw non-physical energy at it’s target {Laser,Plasma,Microwave,enc}

Kinetic:Energized weapons that propel projectiles via rail-based technology at ultra fast speeds.

Slag:Energized weapons that propel projectiles covered or laced in non-physical energy at it’s target. More effective than Energy or Kinetic weapons alone.

Power Armour: Suits of armoured usually with a exoskeleton powered via a form of energy.

Mecha: Larger suits of armour that are capable of participating in space combat against ships. They can produce more firepower and carry more defenses, but they are easier targets.

The development tiers are locked until further notice.

A rework will be done to allow people to develop tech without being restricted by tech levels while also having tech levels bring a sense of advancement on how powerful or advanced a subject of equipment can be.

Until then the Tech Development Tiers are no longer used.
