A deadly virus affecting both organics and robotics swept the northern sectors of the Galaxy, sparking a war between the afflicted and the remaining factions. After nearly a year of defensive battles and co-ordinated operations, the war finally ended at the Battle of Ruin. The end of the war saw increased relations between the GSU, Imperium and Santori as they all agreed on a two year ceasefire to mend the damages caused by the crisis.

After these two years the factions signed the Santori Accords, an agreement proclaiming their united efforts to uphold Celestial law, including the protection of innocent life in case of another galactic threat. Following this meeting the Highrock Clans decided to join the Santori Protectorate, expanding their territory by almost double.

Galactic Date
Whilst each planet has their own personal Dates and Times, most of them adhere to the Galactic Standard Calendar when communicating with eachother.

Current Events
The Reich, a returning faction of magic-haters, resurface and initiate a purge of the planet Ordriey, destroying it entirely in the process. This event has made all of the Major Factions uneasy, even though each of them has bigger concerns of their own. Not only are there issues for these powers to deal with, but more factions are rising from the ashes of the Helix War, populating the galaxy once again.

Meanwhile, the Celestial Architect Sam'anar has discovered a way to reverse large parts of the Convergence, sending back many of the planets it had brought into the galaxy. Whilst this move has saved many from unwanted threats, it has also shifted the layout of the galaxy drastically. Because of this, new star-charts have been drawn out with Hyperlanes, allowing them to show the quickest and safest routes between planets.

Crow would sit down on the shoulder of her largely built zombie minion sighing. She was supposed to by order of the government act as a guide for a man. A man which decided he’d come to a newly colonized planet for a hunting trip. She wasn’t the biggest fan of the idea. Though she figured it was a sort of punishment for her failures. In any event she would do her best on the job. Mainly just because in the end she could probably collect the souls of whatever creature they kill. Something which has become a sort of hobby of hers. More things to add to the undead security system she had set up around her house. She would look around her at the flat grasslands surrounding her. The tall grass reaching up to about three feet in some areas. She’d sigh as she waited a bit. She wasn’t sure how the man was going to arrive. She gave him the meeting spot details, and how he got there couldn’t matter less to her. She picked an area flat enough for a craft to land, but also easily accessible on foot. So now all that was left was for the mystery hunter to show up.

Name: Rhistel Eldi
Species: Elf
Age: 120
Faction: Galactic Systems Union
Alignment: Lawful

Intelligent- Rhistel is very smart especially where it applies to combat and the weather.

Nimble- Rhistel is very quick and agile in his movements. Able to dodge attacks quickly and perform some acrobatic feats.

Magic- Rhistel has strong magic which he can use for long periods of time. This is due to a combination of things such as his species, his rings, and many years of intense training.

Physical- Rhistel is neither the strongest nor the most enduring person out there. Even among members of his own species.

Magic- Should Rhistel become unable to use magic for some reason he would be left defenseless.

Two magic enhancing rings. They work in tandem to make Rhistel’s energy last longer, and also provide a small boost to his Magic’s strength.

Weather production- Rhistel can produce clouds of different types making various types of weather such as rain, lightning or hail. This is done using a combination of multiple types of elemental magic. At the cost of more energy he can even change the weather to be more violent. Such as continuous lightning, or sharp pointed hail. He can also use existing natural weather conditions to his advantage.

Ever since a young age Rhistel had an extreme love of the weather. He trained himself for many years to be able to work alongside it. Eventually creating a craft where elemental magic could be used to reproduce, and alter weather. He worked for a very long undergoing intense training. He would make his magic stronger, and stronger. Until the day he found himself strong enough to join the military. Thus he joined the GSU’s Knights in order to use his ability to help others.

Crow would walk through the desert careful not to get any sand in her boots. She’d tug at her cloak a bit shading her eyes from the sun. “Yaviern?” She’d whine. “Do you have any snacks?” She’d ask hungrily taking a sip of her water. “How much longer are we gonna be out here?” She’d say looking around for any sign of the missing caravan. They weren’t sent to the desert on a mission to find a caravan. Specifically a supplies caravan sent to the city. There were no reports of it ever arriving, but they had never sent a distress call for help.

Name: Alice (Crow) Crowley
Species: Human (possessed)

Necromancy- Despite her young age Alice has strong necromancy due to her life experiences.

Holy magic- Due to her being possessed, and being a necromancer. She is more susceptible to holy magic attacks.

Nanosuit, and SF59 Gauss Rifle.

Ding. The elevator opened queueing the scientist inside to step out. He took a drink of his coffee as he walked over to the automatic door. It scanned his image permitting clearance before it slid open. He’d walk inside yawning a bit as he moved over to his desk. “How are things?” He’d ask another man as he set his stuff down. “Horrible. The only thing this gun is good for is laser tag.” The other would would say fiddling with a rifle. “I mean at home Chris.” He would respond walking over to the table. “Fine Tom.” He’d say handing him the rifle and moving over to another table. “The wife says I spend too much time down in this lab, but there’s nothing I can do about that until we finish with this gun. Oh and the new lenses and scopes we requested are here. I was waiting for you to get here to install them.” He’d say coming back to the table with a small box. Chris would pull out one of the lenses bending it a bit. “These things are pretty flexible good for the mode change. I’ve been promised they won’t stiffen when the beam heats them. Hopefully these things work I’m getting tired of cleaning up broken lenses.” He’d say as he began passing lenses to Tom. “Here’s the main lense, and these are the secondary lenses.” He’d say to Tom setting them down. “Give me a minute to get these things fitted in here.” Tom would say as he began to fit the lenses into place in the barrel of the rifle. After he finished he would fix the barrel back onto the rifle. “Let’s get this tested out.” He would say walking into a test room. He’d set the rifle down on a table and press a small button before moving into another room. After a few minutes a man in a Guard uniform would enter the test room. Tom would press a button and begin speaking over the loud speaker. “Please fire a shot into target one’s chest.” He’d say. The man picked up the rifle holding the trigger down for a few seconds before releasing it. A blue five centimeter beam shot out of the barrel of the gun hitting the target dummy in the chest. Chris entered the room examining the dummy. “Hmm just scorching no penetration of the external layer.” He would say walking over to the Guard. Tom would enter the room as well inspecting the rifle. “Hmm maybe we should concentrate the beam into a smaller diameter using the lenses. This is the “precision mode” He would say adjusting some of the lenses of the gun.
